Good Meat
For the first time in human history, we’re now living in a world where one, single cell can produce an unlimited amount of meat – all without the disturbance of a single forest, the displacement of a single animal’s habitat, or the use of a single drop of antibiotics. One single cell can produce an unlimited amount of meat. To create GOOD Chicken, a small amount of animal cells are taken from poultry. The cells are then fed nutrients like amino acids, carbohydrates, minerals, fats and vitamins — the same types of nutrients that animals need to grow and multiply. From there, the cells are grown into meat at a rapid rate using a bioreactor. (Tetrick, the founder of JUST, compares the process to brewing beer.)
Under a microscope, these cells are like the cells in the chicken we eat. The meat is high in protein and essential amino acids. And it’s entirely free of any genetic modification. It tastes like chicken – because it is.
